“I traveled to the most remote point of Western Mongolia, unsure of what I would find. What I found was a landscape freezing and harsh, but a people incredibly warm. From the very first day, total strangers welcomed me with an unspoken hospitality.
This series isn’t a staged or directed look at their culture. It’s simply the daily reality I shared with them. The people of the Altai region don’t just live alongside nature, they are part of it. Their bond with horses and eagles isn’t a show for tourists; it’s an ancient tradition built on deep, mutual respect.
With these photos, I want to transport you to that edge of the world. Not to focus on the isolation, but to reveal the stillness, the genuine warmth, and the pure way of life. A way of life we’ve almost lost touch with here.”
